ACTIVITIES

Physical Education
Physical education plays an important part in providing a healthy, rounded approach to education and life. Academic excellence is not our only measure of achievement.  We opened a new gymnasium in Spring 2008.

We have four tennis courts and two netball courts as well as a playing field and outdoor apparatus.

We take part in local netball rallies and competitions.  We provide tennis coaching on our excellent tennis courts.

Foundation Stage children are taught the gynmastics scheme for Early Years.  They have lessons in movement and music.

Specialist Teaching
Specialist teaching from Reception - Year 6 recognises individual strengths and encourages competitive success.

We have the use of two halls and have  a huge amount of apparatus.

Foundation Stage follow the Gymnastics curriculum for early years.

Variety
Activities include tennis, gymnastics, netball, football, rounders, athletics, swimming, hockey and cross-country.

We have our own tennis courts and share the excellent facilities and coaching available from the adjoining Tennis club.

Yoga and football are available as after school activities.

Outstanding Results
We continue to achieve outstanding results in our sporting activities.

Girls regularly play for county tennis squads and the school has won national swimming competitions and regional netball and cross-country events.

We were the venue for the first Wolverhampton Key Stage One Gymnastics  Competition in 2008.

We believe that physical challenges boost confidence.

Learning to play as a team memeber, relying on others, trusting and encouraging them are important qualities for life.
