The current Year Six girls are hot on the heels of last year’s Year Sixes! Five girls have already been offered eight scholarships or awards to senior schools for entry into Year Seven in September 2016. Amazing news!

This week the girls in Year Six have been running a vote to see which song Newbridge Preparatory School thinks should become the ‘English’ national anthem to be played at sporting events alongside ‘Flower of Scotland’, ‘Land of Our Father’s’ and ‘Ireland’s Call’. Team ‘Glory’ led the campaign for ‘Land of Hope and Glory’ and Team ‘Freedom’ for ‘Jerusalem’. The school vote was won by Team ‘Glory’ with a 20 vote majority (55 to 35).
