Our Lower School incorporates our Key Stage One Department:
Year One (Rising 6s) – Average 18 children (maximum 5 boys)
Year Two (Rising 7s) – Average 18 children (maximum 5 boys)
Applying for Key Stage One (Lower School)
Applicants aged 5+ (Year One) and age 6+ (Year Two) hoping to join Newbridge Preparatory Lower School spend two Taster Days with us. These are offered on any school weekday in term-time and enable your child to experience a normal school day within his or her year group.
During the Taster Days, class teachers will informally assess your child to make sure that he or she would thrive within our community and to highlight any possible issues that might be identified. Places are offered after this if the candidate fulfils the school’s admission criteria.
