Bursaries

The Directors of Newbridge Preparatory School are committed to broadening access to the school by offering to eligible parents/guardians means-tested financial support for the payment of school fees.  This support is known as a bursary and takes the form of a discount of up to 50% of the tuition fees depending on the academic performance of the pupil and the financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances of the parents. Bursaries may be made available to parents/guardians of children entering Year 3 of the School.

Household income and assets will be assessed via the school’s finance office. Families with a joint household income of less than £50,000 may be eligible for financial support through the school’s bursary scheme. Parents/guardians seeking a bursary are required to complete an application form which seeks to establish the financial circumstances of the family by requesting details of income, expenditure and capital.

Each pupil to whom support is offered must, in the opinion of the Headmistress, be likely to make sound academic progress following admission and possess the potential to develop the quality of  her work, and benefit from participation in the wider, extra-curricular activities on offer at the School. If you are interested in applying for a 7+ Bursary, please contact Miss Addison, School Registrar on 01902 751088 to discuss this further.
